Work, Work, Work

The sky was so cool at school this morning. It was so foggy way up in the mountains. None of them down where we were though!

Brett has been working on getting new accounts like crazy since we moved down here, and activity with the accounts is finally starting to grow! He has meetings set up all this week. Today he had one right in town, and I got to walk down with him! He said he would probably only be 20-30 minutes, so I found a bench nearby to wait for him. Here he is waiting for the place to open. I look like such a stalker! 😂

His appointment went really well and I ended up waiting an hour for him! If I had known it would be that long, I would have shopped! Haha Oh well, at least he was gone long enough that it was time for lunch, so we walked over to No Way, Jose's for lunch. If you are visiting and you like Mexican food, this is the place to go. I don't get Mexican food very often because I'm allergic to cilantro and it's usually a pain to find something without it, but our server was very helpful. The portions were huge and we barely put a dent in our food, especially after realizing we were going to have to walk home. 😁 I'm not really into taking pictures of my food, but here's my hot date. 😉

When we got home, the guy came and installed our dishwasher. Of course, the guy who took the old dishwasher out did not leave the drain, so it still isn't installed completely. 😞

We were later than usual getting to the school to pick up the boys, so I got a different view for today's picture. I know at least Shawndra enjoys seeing the views every day, so here is some variety for you! 😁

My mom and dad finally got to see their first bear at the house. My mom was sweeping leaves off of the deck when I saw it and called to her. She ignored me at first because she thought I was just kidding! I can't believe it's taken this long for them to see one. They've been here for six days!

Janae came home from volleyball and had a paper from her Beta Club meeting. They have different student officers, including a chaplain who does a devotional at each meeting and closes with prayer. I thought that was so cool! We feel so blessed to have the kids go to this school. It has really been a good fit for them.

Talan had a baseball game tonight. I got to sit in the back with the boys. 😊

Of course, Selfie Queen had to get ahold of my phone too!

Talan wants to do basketball and taekwondo, but there is just no time for anything else right now. I think one activity per kid is plenty, but Talan wants to try everything! He has the late game tonight so I will report back tomorrow on how it went. 😊
