Sports=Our Current Life

Our life down here has been consumed with sports! We had a late night last night at Talan's game. He had a hard hit just past second base, but got out at 1st base.

He pitched the first inning. He got off to a rough start, but he did throw three strikes in a row to strike a batter out! He has improved a lot. The ump had a very small strike zone. 😑

Our team lost 10-1, but was much improved from the last time we played this team. There was only one hit from both teams combined. Yikes!

When I took today's before-school picture, Janae said it looked just like yesterday's. I looked back at yesterday's pictures and I disagree. The clouds were much higher yesterday! 😂

I couldn't get a great picture, but they have decorated the Gatlinburg signs for fall. They look so nice!

Mom and I went shopping at The Island at Pigeon Forge this morning. I should say we went window shopping because we didn't buy a thing. 😊 They have a lot of neat little shops and things to do though. This is also where Paula Deen's restaurant is. Mom and Dad are going to take Grandma there when they come down in October.

I found this gigantic bear to pose with. Isn't he cute? 😊

There was a store that has parrots right out front in an open window. They were so pretty!

After we shopped a little, we went and picked Dad up and went to the Burger Barn, which is right down the road from our house. I know I said yesterday that I don't take pictures of my food, but look at this Salad Burger! It was sooooo good. 100% grass-fed beef too. Haha

We were too early to go pick up the kids, so we drove around The Arts and Crafts loop. Then we were the very first car in line at school! I guess that's what happens when you're 45 minutes early. 😁 I had to get out of the car to take pictures today!

Mom and I took Janae to her last regular season match tonight and the boys went to Easton's game. The team Pittman Center played against was undefeated.

Janae started and played the entire first set, as well as most of the second set. We put up a good fight, but ended up losing each set by just a few points. They did much better than the other times we played them. We play this team in the first round of the tournament next week, and I think we have a chance of beating them! 😊

We were able to make the last inning of Easton's game. Brett said Easton had a double and a single. We saw him hit a hard shot to third, but the other team got the third out at second, so that's pretty much all we saw. 😂 The Cubbies ended up winning 13-5. Still undefeated! Yay!😁
