I got my wish for getting to sleep in today and it felt so good! I have the best hubby. He got up and worked on things around the house and let me sleep in. He must have threatened the kids too, because I never heard a peep from them!
We got more things organized and put away before and after lunch. Then we went to the storage unit to get more boxes. It is getting empty! We are hoping to have everything out by the end of this month.
Brett and Janae took the boxes back to the house, while I took Talan and Easton with me to Easton's baseball practice. Talan and I went to Walmart for a few things (that never seems to end!) and then went walking at the park. I like to walk pretty fast and Talan quickly fell behind. I told him that if he didn't catch me by the time we were done, he would lose the PlayStation for a week. That was all the encouragement he needed. He started running to catch me. 😂 He was exhausted afterwards. 😊
After practice I got more things put away and then we got in the hot tub. It's so strange that it can be 90 degrees, but up here in our treehouse, it feels cool enough to get in the hot tub! After we got out, I was planting flowers and Brett said we had a visitor. 😁
His coat is so silky and shiny! You almost forget he's a wild animal as you're looking at him. He looks like you could walk up to him and pet him. We'll just admire him from a distance though. 😁
Here are my plants I potted. I'm hoping I don't kill these. In my defense, we don't get much sun up here!
It's time for The Miss America pageant, so that's all for tonight. I had Miss Indiana, Brianna DeCamp in sixth grade math. She was beautiful inside and out, so intelligent and poised, even as a sixth grader. I'm excited to see her on stage!
