Appliances, Part 2

Today started out like just about every other day this month... With a trip to Lowe's! 😑 The keypad that I got yesterday did not work, so I had to go exchange it. I took advantage of the trip and got everything else I could possibly think of while I was there! When I got home, I could not get in the driveway because a dump truck was blocking the road. He could not get thru because the hhgregg truck was in his way. With my appliances! Yay! Unfortunately, a police officer then showed up because the guy in the dump truck called the police and said the hhgregg guys refused to moved their truck. He said he got out and personally asked them to move, which I guess was a complete lie! How friendly. 😱 Anyway, I walked up the stairs and it was like angels singing in heaven. 😄 They look beautiful. No scratches on anything today, either. Success!

We had to pull the refrigerator out for the project we're getting ready to work on tonight, but you get the idea.

Here's a sneak peek of what our backsplash will look like. I finally found something I like!

After admiring my new appliances and the work that had been done this morning, I started potting some of my little plants that I bought while I was out. I was smart and bought plants that require little maintenance and are hard to kill. 😂

Here are a few things that got completed today:

There's more, but I'm saving that for until I am finished decorating. 😁

Before I knew it, it was time to go get Janae and Easton. The Smokies sure were smoky today! 😉

I had just gotten home, thinking I was going to catch a quick nap before taking Janae to her game, when Brett asked who was picking up Talan. Oh man, I forgot about Talan! He was at running club again. So, Janae and I turned right around to go pick him up. We were way too early to go to her game, but didn't have enough time to turn around and go home, so we stopped for dinner at Subway.

Miss Selfie Queen got ahold of my phone again!

This school was out in the boonies. No cellphone service whatsoever. Luckily, we left very early.

After last night, I was very relieved that she only had one match. She started varsity and played almost the entire game. Her serving was great and she had a great save out of the net. I can't believe how much she has improved since last year.

They ended up losing but it was to a good team. After the game, we were walking out with her coach, and he said how proud of Janae he was. She was all grins!

Brett was in charge of reporting for Easton's game tonight, so I will share the results of that tomorrow!
