Today is a short blog post with mostly pictures because of a very special celebration... Easton's 8th birthday! He is my baby and I can't believe he's already 8. That seems so old! We had a great day with him today. We started with presents at our house.
Then we spent 6 hours at Wonderworks. There are a lot of cool things there! Here are just a few:
Easton and I were the first ones to try out the rock wall. We didn't make it too far the first time.
The look on Janae's face while she was on the bed of nails was priceless! 😂
One of our favorite things was this tub of ice cold water. It's the same temperature as the water the Titanic sank in, 28 degrees. Most people could only hold their hand in the water for a few seconds, or maybe a minute. My mom held hers in there for 6 minutes and 9 seconds! It made me so sad to think about those people who had their entire bodies submerged in the water for much longer than we could stand with just our hand.
We did the rock wall again and Easton, Talan and I were all able to make it all the way to the top. Of course, no one ever gets proof of me doing these things! ðŸ˜

Afterwards, Easton wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.
During dinner they put him on a saddle and did a special birthday celebration for him. He loved every minute of it!
Then we went to church and came home. He wanted to watch Finding Nemo for his birthday movie. 😊 Brett even let him eat ice cream in my bed! I would say he had a pretty good birthday! 😄
