Labor Day

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day. I know we did!  We spent the morning at Splash Country. It was kind of sad because it was the last operating day of the season. I made sure to take my camera this time to get some pictures though!

Ahhhh! We were there an hour before they opened and there was STILL a line! Of course, you always have those people who completely ignore the line and walk straight to the front, around everyone patiently waiting in the line. 😑

Easton was so excited and only asked once how much longer we had to wait. 😁

Notice poor Talan's gap? He cracked heads with Easton shortly before we moved and busted his tooth off. He had a temporary cap put on it and they said they would put a permanent cap on it when it was done growing, approximately age 18. Well, he was eating chips at the game Saturday night and he said they were crunchy and hurt his tooth. Turns out it was his tooth he was crunching on! Poor guy. Looks like we are going to have to find a dentist sooner than we thought. 😞 At least he still has his adorable smile!

We knew we were only staying for a couple of hours, so we made sure to do our favorite rides right away. Janae and Brett had to ride this one with two other men. She hates that! 😂

It was actually still chilly for the first two rides and the water was freezing! Usually this bridge burns your feet it's so hot. Not today!

There is only one five person ride, so I usually go with the boys and Brett goes with Janae. There they are up ahead of us!

This is the view from the five-person family ride. It has a great view of the entire park!

This was during the ride. Easton doesn't even look phased by it. Janae was scared to death. I tried to get a picture of her but it was blurry. Her faces are priceless!

The one thing Brett can't do in the park are the racing rides. You go down on mats on your belly and he is too tall so his knees get all torn up. The rest of us love these rides though and there is never a very long line.

I win every time since I weigh the most!

After all that, I had enough and went back to read my book for awhile. Then it was time to say goodbye. We sure got our use out of our season pass though!

The kids all give Splash Country two thumbs up. Here they are in front of the sign for next year's new ride. Looks like it's on mats too. Poor Brett! Maybe they'll have longer mats. 😂
