My Kitchen is Complete!

Last night, Brett and I decided we wanted to work on the backsplash. We started at 9:30. At about 12:30, I was begging to take a nap. 😁 

But Brett made me push through it and at a little after 2:00 this morning, we were finished!

Terry added some finishing strips of trim this morning and I got it all cleaned up and put together.

Besides the dishwasher that will be coming on Monday, the kitchen is now complete!!!! 😍

I had just finished getting everything put away and was leaving to pick up the boys when my mom and dad arrived! They decided to ride along with me to the school.

My mom got the honor of taking the mountain-view picture today. The first two had her in the mirror. She's new at the job. 😂

They stayed back at the house with Easton while we went to a meet and greet the math teacher with Talan and to pick Janae up from volleyball. 

We watched the end of practice. Janae thinks we're the most embarrassing parents ever. That's our goal! 😁

 Later we went to Talan's practice. The selfie-queen is back!

Talan had an outstanding practice and hit the ball further than I've ever seen him hit it. He is also going to be the starting pitcher tomorrow night. I'm so proud of him! 😊

I also forgot I was going to share details of Easton's game last night. He made three outs, including one that he backhanded after the coach ducked out of the way. He's really doing great in the pitcher position! He also had one hit and one RBI. Cubbies won 6-3 and the other team was also undefeated! 

Early to bed for me tonight. I'm exhausted after last night's project!
