Well, now that my mom and dad are gone, it's back to my boring routine for me! Somehow we managed to be early for school this morning. That never happens! It sure was pretty. I love looking at the mountains every day. God has definitely blessed our family!
After a week of excitement with my parents here, I was worn out. I went home, did some chores, took a nap and got in the hot tub. I felt like such a bum today, but it sure did feel good to do absolutely nothing for a change!
Today I only had to pick Easton up from school. He loves being an only child sometimes! 😁 Talan went to running club and Janae had volleyball practice, so Brett picked them up after one of his appointments.
There's my little buddy in the red shirt, waiting patiently for me to pick him up!
We stopped at Family Dollar for a few groceries and Subway for Easton's supper and ran home to get Easton changed for his game. He wasn't too happy that we had to leave right away. He really wanted to play with his new spy kit some more. He informed me that he doesn't want to play baseball in college. 😂 He probably won't want to play with that spy kit either. 😉
Before the game, Easton was saying that he hoped the coach brought eye black for them. He thinks it's so cool. Then he said "Well, it's actually blue, but you still call it eye black. You wouldn't call it eye blue or eye pink." Details, details. 😊
Easton had a great base hit and was able to score. 😊
The Cubbies ended up winning 16-0. I don't think any other team has as chance of winning against them. Talan even thinks they could beat his team. Haha
No games tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to a quiet evening at home for a change!
