The Countdown is On!

Only two more days until school starts, so I decided to surprise the kids with a trip to Dollywood to see the magic show. Talan especially loves magic, and had remembered the show times from the last time we were here. 😊
We arrived early and they chose seats near the front. It has been raining on and off today, so luckily it is under a pavilion!
The kids noticed right away that the clock on the stage is backwards.

Once the show started, Talan was the first one picked to help with a trick.

He was all smiles while he was up there. This was right up his alley!

The show lasted about an hour, and, after it was over, we spent some time looking around the magic shop. There was a ton of junk the kids wanted to waste their money on, but I talked them into little magic banks that weren't too expensive. 😁 Maybe they will learn how to make some money appear. 😂

I found these pictures on my phone! Sneaky little boogers, taking pictures when they were supposed to be looking up directions for me!

On our way to Talan's practice we saw this huge dirt bike tied to the back of an SUV. That's something you don't see every day, so I had to snap a pic! 😊

We were early to practice, so the boys got to play on the playground for a little bit. Janae has decided she is too old to play, and thinks that everyone will stare at her. Even though there were kids much older than her playing!

And then it was time to get ready for practice! Talan was all smiles and ready to go! I love his attitude about sports. He always tries his hardest and is very positive. He just enjoys playing!
He had another great practice. I really like his coach. Brett said that he invited us to church. Turns out he goes to Pathways, the church we have been going to!

While Talan practiced, Brett and Easton played catch. Easton got so thirsty but they could not find a single drinking fountain in the whole park!

Janae and I played a new game on my phone and chatted. After I took this picture, she said "Yuck, I have bags under my eyes!" Haha Just you wait, Janae! Bags under your eyes will be the least of your worries! 😂😂😂

Practice went until it was too dark to see the ball. The coach announced we'll be having a team cookout this weekend. Yay! Something fun to do!
