Friday Fun!

Today was our last Friday before school starts, so we decided to have some fun. I woke the kids up early and we went to a Farmer's Market in Sevierville. It was just a little one, perfect for the boys who don't stay interested in this type of thing for very long. 😊 The kids picked out blueberries, peaches and zucchini bread. We also couldn't resist a lemon shake-up before we left. 😁

While at the outlet mall, the kids wanted to ride on this tiny little merry go round. I didn't even bother wasting my 50 cents on it. I'm sure it never would have budged! It made for a funny picture though. I texted it to Brett and he asked if that was Elf between Talan and Easton. 😂😂

After a trip to WalMart and Skechers, we were famished so we made to-go stops at Taco Bell AND A&W since they are right next to each other and we were quite the indecisive bunch. 😊 Since we were right next door, I had to stop at Ogle's Furniture.  Here are some of the things I liked for downstairs:

Don't the kids look thrilled to be missing their lunch to try out furniture?😂

If you couldn't tell, I really love those one and a half chairs! They're big enough for two of us to sit on, but don't take up a ton of room. I can't wait to get rid of the purple furniture that is currently invading my downstairs! 😝

Here is the chair I want to get for my scrapbook table. It's super comfy and just the right size. It's kind of pricey though so I think I will be asking Santa for it!

Once we got home, Easton had his daily snuggle time with Missy. She has really taken a liking to him since we moved. There is the gross purple furniture I was talking about. Yuck!

After Brett was done with work, we took a trip over to Dollywood for a few hours. It's wonderful having a season pass! We don't have to feel like we have to stay all day. Pretty much everyone we saw looked like they had been there all day. 😂

I love the landscaping at Dollywood and want to do something like this up on our hill. I had the family pose there for a picture so I didn't look too weird. 😁
Talan thought this coffin was so funny. We've seen it a hundred times and he's never said a word about it, but today he just giggled and giggled and wanted his picture taken inside it.

Brett and Easton are somewhere on this wooden coaster. I cannot ride it because it is so jerky and gives me an instant migraine. Brett shouldn't ride it because of his neck issues, but he would do anything for his little buddy! 😊

Easton and I rode our favorite roller coaster, Wild Eagle. He is finally tall enough to ride it and begs to every time. He kept saying to me during the ride, "Mom, you scream a lot!"

Our final ride for the night was the brand new wooden roller coaster, Lightning Rod. It's the fastest wooden coaster in the world. Never. Again. It was terrible! I don't know if it went upside down or not because I had my eyes closed half of the time, but it sure felt like it! There were so many steep drops and hills and curves... Oh my! I'm sitting that one out with Janae next time!

On our way home I had to snap a picture. I have probably shown this same picture at least once already, but I'm telling you, this sight never gets old! It's breathtaking. 😊

And finally, the moment you have all been waiting for... Drumroll please!
I finished them! Yay! I'm so glad to be done with that foam. What a mess it was making upstairs! Except I have a ton left so I will probably be saving it for another project. 😁 Oh, and please pay no attention to that ugly lampshade. It (and it's twin brother) will be getting a makeover soon!
