The Great Pumpkin Thief

I heard there were fog delays in Indiana, but there weren't any here! We had a layer of fog here, but just the pretty kind that's layered above the road. Haha 😁

Missy has been spending a lot of time in Easton's bed. He babies her sooooo much. From the look in her eyes, I don't think she is a fan of getting her picture taken. 😁

Brett had an appointment in Hartford (not Connecticut... I asked 😉) so I got a bunch done around the house. I have been wanting goulash for weeks and finally looked up a recipe on Pinterest and made some. While it was REALLY good, it was NOT my mama's goulash. Of course, when I ask her for a recipe, she always tells me she doesn't use a recipe, she just goes off of her memory. 😑 I need the recipe, Mom. Write it down. 😂

After a trip to the post office, Dollar General, and the library, I came home, worked out, and got in the hot tub. I guess I lost track of time because, before I knew it, Brett was home and ready to walk in to town for another appointment. I will never turn down a chance to walk to town with someone! Brett had a bunch of samples he had to take, so he packed them in his computer backpack. I call him my Little Jehovah. 😂😂😂 He doesn't like that very much but I think it's hilarious.

On our way downtown, we stopped to talk to our neighbor. He told us he saw a big bear carrying our pumpkin the other day and eating it! I hadn't even noticed it was gone! I'm glad I only bought one. I didn't even think that a bear might eat it!

On our way back home, we saw the cub in the road. He crossed in front of us and went up the hill by our house.

We also spied something at another neighbor's house. Our lumpy, half-eaten pumpkin! That crazy bear must have drug it over to their house! 😁 So funny.

When we got up to the house, we looked over the edge of the deck and there was our furry friend, licking grease-covered leaves.

By that time, it was time for me to go pick up the kids. I saw Easton going in from recess. That's him in the glowing orange shirt. 😊

After a quick dinner, we headed into Sevierville for Talan's game. He had an awesome catch and this was their best game by far. We lost 8-6, which is a huge improvement for them. The Iron Pigs WILL win a game this season. I can feel it!
