Davy Crockett

Randy and Diana left early this morning before we woke up, so it is back to just the five of us. We had such a great time on their visit! We decided to have a lazy day at home today. We did manage to get a lot done though!

After dinner, we decided to go play mini golf at Davy Crockett's here in Gatlinburg. We found out once we got there that it is 50% off for locals. Score!

I played on Easton's team the first round, and Talan's team the second round. Brett decided not to play and to be the official scorekeeper both rounds. Fine by me! 😁

I got a hole in one on the second hole! Yay! Janae was very embarrassed by my hole in one dance, so it was a double win for me. 😉

There was a group in front of us, so we had to sit and wait on a few of the holes.

This course is so much fun. There are a lot of fun little details in the landscaping, and sometimes animals pop up and sing along the course.

One hole is like playing Plinko around gophers. There are singing gophers off to the side, too. So cute!

My team won both times! Easton and Talan both got a hole in one on the last hole of our second game. They got tickets to come back and play a free game! Easton already wants to go back tomorrow. 😊

We used to play Putt Putt with my Uncle Rex, and he would always do the chicken dance when he got a hole in one. We still do it in memory of him today! I know he would love my kids and would have had so much fun with them.

Tomorrow is our last day of Fall Break. The kids want me to take them to Dollywood but I'm thinking another day at home sounds good to me! 😁 Talan has a game in the evening and then his last game is Tuesday. Then we will be seeing a LOT more of home, I hope!
