Migraine Weather

I could tell rain was coming because I have had a migraine for two days straight. Last night was the worst of it, but it was still here all day today! Yet the sky was perfectly clear all morning!

After a quick trip for groceries, I tried to sleep off my migraine. No such luck. I wasn't tired! Haha So, I cleaned and organized my scrapbook area. I am finally happy with how I have everything. I have a small section of our rug covered with the things I want to put in/on my scrapbook table...if it ever comes! 😑

Look at this sweet picture I found while I was putting things away. This is Brennan. Isn't he precious?! Easton looked a lot like him when he was born. I will have to see if I can find a newborn picture of him so I can compare them!

I finally worked up the courage to do some journal art right inside my Bible with my devotional today. Pinterest is my best friend for drawing. I just look up what I want to draw and then look at it and copy it. I used regular colored pencils on this one and it worked really well.  This is such a relaxing way to spend time with God. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The sky was starting to get dark by the time I went to pick up the kids. I was drawing while I was waiting and didn't even notice it had started raining in the passenger window that was open. Oops! 😊

We relaxed at home for a little while and after supper walked downtown. It was a beautiful evening!

Janae is on this kick of wanting glasses just for the heck of it. I told her I would buy her these but she didn't like them. 😂

These are the ones she liked. I think they are just as dorky!

It is really pretty downtown at night. We walked almost the entire length of the strip and agreed we need to do this more often.

Since there was no whining, we got ice cream cones at McDonald's. The lady working at the counter was new at making cones. Janae's was ginormous! Brett ate most of her ice cream for her. 😊 Aren't they cute? 😁

We're spending the rest of our evening watching the Cubs game to see if we can spot Travis and Erin. Looks like it's going to be a late one! Go Cubbies!

Here's my beautiful friend and her hubby. What a great pic!
