So Much to Do!

We have had a great two days with Randy and Diana. We have squeezed a lot into two short days and I have a ton of pictures to share!

We started yesterday by going to the Forbidden Caverns.

These pieces of metal are original pieces from an old moonshine still that was found in the caverns.

Another still!

I didn't hear what this footprint was from, but Easton thought it was pretty cool.

They ask that you don't touch anything in the cavern because the oils in your hands are bad for the rocks. They have one rock at the end that you are allowed to touch, so of course, everybody does!

The light show at the end was my favorite part. It was beautiful.

We were close to Bush's Baked Bean factory, so we went there for lunch.

After lunch, we took some pictures and toured the facilities. This is my third time going there, and I never get tired of watching the video they show of how the beans are made and packaged. It is so interesting!

Everyone got weighed in beans. 😁

Later in the evening, we went to The Island at Pigeon Forge. This was my first time going at night and was it ever gorgeous! They have free parking and then you can ride the tram up to The Island.

They have a fabulous lights and water show, right in front of the big ferris wheel. There are rockers all around the outside to sit in. There was also a band playing. You could really just go here and sit all night and have a great time!

The kids were intrigued by this mime.

We rode on a 7-D ride and shot robot cowboys. It was so much fun! Brett came in first, Talan 2nd and I was third. I won't embarrass everyone else. 😂

Can you tell we loved the glasses they gave us to wear? 😁

We had such a great time walking around The Island. I would highly recommend going there at night if you are visiting the area!

Talan had a three hour practice this morning and worked on his pitching. He did great! It looks like he will be pitching on Monday. He sure has improved a lot in a short amount of time!

Early in the evening we decided to go for a little hike at Greenbrier. It was a beautiful evening!

There seemed to be lots of piggy back riding on this hike!

Wow, that's quite the load!

Talan is one strong boy! 😂😂😂

One is plenty for me. 😁

At the end of the night we had to get a picture with the letter our sweet Shae-bug sent us.
Awwww! We miss her! I asked Madi what she wanted for Christmas and she said to see us! Talk about a heartbreaker!!! Except then she went on to say that Easton could stay at her house when we came up. Wait. What about your favorite Aunt Shana, Madi??? 😉 I miss my girl. 😖 We will be up soon to see everyone at Thanksgiving! 😍
