Sam's Club

We have had a fun and busy weekend! Yesterday we went to Knoxville to get some storage boxes and workout mats from Sam's Club. The kids always enjoy eating at the food court there and we love it because it's cheap! We also were on the hunt for a tall storage cabinet but we could not find one that will work for us. I guess we will continue to look online, but I hate buying such a big ticket item without seeing it in person!

Our final trip was to Kohl's to spend my Kohl's cash. It never fails, EVERY time I have Kohl's cash, I cannot find a thing I want or need. I ended up getting a Lauren Conrad ring that's pretty cute, but I never would have paid money for it. But since it was free... Haha

Traffic was horrific in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so, lucky for us, we know the back routes and we took every single one of them. It was still a long day though, so we decided once we got home, we were staying in for the night.

Last night I finally got the pictures deleted off of my phone and onto a flash drive. I was down to 3% free storage remaining on my phone with almost 4000 pictures. After getting rid of all of those pictures I'm back up to 74% storage! That feels freeing! 😊

Today we woke up early (for us on a Sunday now!) to go to church. This is the first time we have gone on a Sunday morning, so of course we were running late! We got there right as it was starting at 9:30 and it was completely packed. We had to sit at the very back and I couldn't see at all. I had to watch on the side screen the entire service. Now I know why we like the Saturday night service so much! It's much less crowded! It was still a great service though, continuing on the Noise series.

After church, we went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch. The boys always get the macaroni and cheese off of the kids' menu for $3.99, so it usually ends up being a pretty cheap meal. Well, today as Talan was ordering, he changed his mind and said he would have steak instead. After the waitress left, I looked at the menu and it was $8.49! For a kids' meal! We told him he better love every bite of it. 😂 Here's his first bite.

And here's his reaction...that means he liked it. 😁 What a goof ball.

Here's a picture of my other two handsome fellas. No pics of the ladies. 😑

Traffic was even worse today than yesterday. We were hoping to get the storage unit cleared out today, but it wasn't worth spending all that time in traffic, so we had a nice, relaxing day at home instead. We found out later that Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) from The Dukes of Hazzard is in town, and there was a parade in Gatlinburg. We're pretty sure that's why there were so many people in town. Too bad we didn't know about it or we would have gone!

Later in the day, we walked downtown. The streets were packed, but it's so nice being able to walk there! No need to worry about driving in all that traffic or finding a place to park. By the end of the night it was chilly though. We were glad we wore sweatshirts!

These crazies still had ice cream. Not me! 😁

This week we have fall break on Friday, and then Monday of next week, so two four-day weeks for the kids. They are looking forward to that! I am still undecided. 😉
