No Room!

We had a great morning today. No arguments, no tears, all clip ups...it doesn't get much better than that! I love when the kids wake up happy. It makes for a better morning for everyone. I'm pretty sure they were well rested since we didn't have any games yesterday. Soon we will be done with baseball and I'm praying the happy mornings continue!

I came home and worked on organizing my boxes and boxes of scrapbook stuff. It is difficult going from an entire room devoted to your hobby to a corner of a room with no closets. I thought I got rid of a ton before we moved, but I am going to have to get rid of more. 😞 We just have no room for it all. And I know I said I wasn't going to complain about my table, but they called today and the shipment has been lost and it might not be here on Tuesday. That is what I get for special ordering something from Mexico! 😡

When I got tired of trying to find room for things, I turned to my Bible and did a devotional. That always puts me in a better mood! Here is the cover of the Bible Erin and Steph got me as a going-away present. Isn't it gorgeous?!

I had forgotten that they had also got me tabs for the books, so I put those on today. It took me nearly an hour, since I'm a perfectionist, but it was worth it! Oh how I love it. I have the best friends. I miss them so much. 😞

Brett went with me to pick up the kids after school and I packed them a picnic dinner so we could go to the park.

Brett and Janae tossed the ball around with Easton to prepare him for tonight's game. Do you see the mountains back there?! Gorgeous! 😍

The other team only had seven players so they had to forfeit, but we played the game for practice anyway. We played so much better tonight. This was the team we are used to! No tears or angry kids afterwards!

Easton had two really nice hits.

Easton's coach is very good at emphasizing good sportsmanship, and he got medals for our team to give to the other team. They have not won a game all season, yet they all had smiles on their faces and had a good time playing. That is what it's all about!

They were all very excited to get their medals.

Their coach had them all get into a huddle and they broke with "Cubs!" I wish all of the teams could have the sportsmanship that these two teams have. It was awesome!

This called for a trip to Sweet Frog for some frozen yogurt! They now have pumpkin, too. Yummy!

Wow, I can't believe tomorrow is Friday. The days and weeks are going so fast. We have been here for ten weeks already! It sure doesn't feel like it!
