Brrrrr

Brrrr!!! It is now freezing when we wake up in the morning. Brett was oh so kind and got the heater working today. I needed it! I could not get warm!

The kids were looking forward to this week because it's a four-day week, followed by a four-day weekend for Fall Break. We had a great morning!

When we got back from taking the kids to school, I HAD to get in the hot tub to warm up. Plus, I had a great book I wanted to read for a bit. 😁 Then we walked downtown because Brett had an appointment. It is still packed. Brett's contact told him it is people still here from the hurricane. While Brett was at his appointment, I walked all the way to the other end of town to see what all was down there. I saw some nice new sights!

I have been trying to get to the front of the car rider line, so I leave the house around 2:30. I don't mind waiting because it gives me extra time to read. 😁 I'm on my fifth book of The Selection Series. It's the series Janae was reading a few months ago. I passed her long ago. 😂

Talan had a make-up game tonight. It was a late game. It was freezing! Luckily I came prepared with blankie. I might need my snowsuit next week. 😂

Remember last week when I said the Iron Pigs were going to get a win? I was right!!! They had a great game tonight and pulled out a win. They were so excited. Talan was all grins. He likes to play either way, but it always feels good to win!

The boys wanted to snuggle with Daddy after the game. Only for a few minutes though because it was late! I love these snuggle bugs! 😍
