At Last!

You can finally start to see some leaves changing around here and the little peeks of fall we are getting are gorgeous! This is my first time ever seeing Tennessee in the fall, so I'm excited every day to see things changing.

Do you see the little pops of red in there? I'm hoping we can get some hiking in over fall break so we can see what it's like higher up.

Talan had his cross country meet during school today. There were 500 students from the county there! He didn't know how he placed, but he had the fastest time he has had all year. I'm so proud of him for doing this and enjoying it! It's definitely not something I thought he would be interested in! I'm glad they had such a nice day to run.

When I got back from picking the kids up from school, they were delivering our furniture. Finally! My table is still MIA 😡 but my scrapbook chair came today, along with our family room furniture. We got a loveseat...

And a chair-and-a-half. This furniture is huge! I'm glad we didn't get a full-size sofa. It would have been way too big. This is perfect for the space and oh so comfy and soft!

Don't mind my scrapbook stuff all over the floor in the background. It's patiently waiting to be placed inside my table. Haha

Easton had one of his final games tonight. His coach could not be there, which is never good when it's coach pitch. They get so used to hitting off of their coach! This was good practice for the spring when they move up a league though!

Our hitting was actually very good. Easton had a great hit! He only got up to bat once though. 😞 Our fielding was not great and we were down 5-0 at the top of the 2nd. That was a first! We've never been down by that much!

We got our energy going though and pulled out the win. One more game and then fall ball is over. Hopefully we can remain undefeated!

Easton's team will be moving up in the spring but his coach had asked him to move up too, even though he is the youngest on the team. They will be playing in two leagues, so we will be even busier with games. Yay. Haha The coach asked Brett to be an assistant coach though, so I think that will be good for him. I can tell he misses coaching!
